On the afternoon of September 20, 2024, the inaugural meeting of the Used Car Export Committee and the Used Car Export Summit Forum of Henan Province, themed “Exporting Dreams, Creating the Future of Yu,” was successfully held in the conference room of Zhengzhou Mecca Automobile Cultural and Creative Park. Mr. Yan Keshi, Executive Director of Gnee Group and General Manager of JWUCUL Supply Chain, was invited to participate in the forum to discuss new opportunities and challenges in used car exports with representatives from various enterprises.

To promote the healthy, standardized, and scientific development of the used car export industry in Henan Province, the committee aims to play an active role in policy research, market access, communication and cooperation, industry statistics, and self-discipline. It provides an open platform for experience exchange, mutual learning, resource sharing, and common development. In accordance with the Association’s Constitution and branch management provisions, the Used Car Export Committee was convened several times. Through the fourth council of the Association, the “Henan Used Car Circulation Association Used Car Export Committee” was established, and an awarding ceremony was held for the presidential units such as BJC and the elected vice-presidents during this meeting.

At the forum, Mr. Yan Keshi, General Manager of Jingmutual, shared insights on the opportunities and challenges in the used car export sector. In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s automobile industry—particularly the swift iteration of new energy vehicles—the path to automobile export has transformed from the active exploration of a few enterprises to the vigorous development of the entire industry. In 2019, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Public Security, and the General Administration of Customs jointly issued a notice regarding the development of second-hand vehicle exports. The first batch of 45 enterprises entered the export list for second-hand vehicles, and that year, automobile exports exceeded one million units. By September 2023, the number of companies on the used car export list had grown to 471, not including those conducting business through other channels. In the same year, China’s total automobile exports reached 4.91 million units, propelling it to the top of the global list and demonstrating the immense opportunities within this industry.

However, opportunities and challenges exist side by side. In the face of new prospects, overcoming existing weaknesses will be a key issue to address. Jingmutual will continue to fulfill its responsibilities as a vice-chairman unit, leveraging its advantages to collaborate with colleagues, support one another, and grow together. We are committed to promoting the export of used cars in Henan towards scale, standardization, and brand development.
