Geely has officially opened global pre-sales for the Galaxy M9, available in six variants with prices ranging from 193,800 to 258,800 yuan. As Geely Galaxy’s first flagship model following its milestone of one million sales, the M9 is positioned as the brand’s first “AI-powered six-seat flagship SUV.” True to its flagship status, the new model introduces “three flagship strengths + three AI technologies,” aiming to compete head-on in the 200,000-yuan family SUV segment.

Three flagship strengths: design, space, and safety beyond expectations

Positioned as a “first-class cabin for the whole family,” the Galaxy M9 ’s exterior design immediately conveys a flagship presence. Co-developed by Geely’s global design team, it blends Eastern and Western aesthetics while continuing the brand’s signature “ripple aesthetics” design language. It adopts starry sky-inspired through-type light strips and sunrise-inspired tail lights, paired with an elegant side profile, a balanced window-to-body ratio of 1:1.2, and a drag coefficient as low as 0.285Cd—harmonizing visual appeal with aerodynamic efficiency.

Space is another standout highlight. Measuring 5,205 × 1,999 × 1,800 mm with a wheelbase exceeding 3 meters, the M9 offers an effective cabin area of 5.2 square meters, achieving a class-leading 88.3% space utilization rate. All three seating rows follow an “equal comfort” philosophy. The third row, often a weak point in six-seat SUVs, supports a 150° recline and features a 0.15㎡ panoramic window. Meanwhile, the cabin supports multiple configurations—including dual-side beach chairs, three-row cinema sofa, and rear-row bed—covering scenarios such as family trips, business receptions, and outdoor camping, making the M9 a truly versatile SUV.

In terms of safety, the M9 continues Geely’s reputation for rigorous standards. The body adopts a high-strength star-cage structure and comes with nine airbags, including dual-chamber remote airbags and extended side air curtains, creating a 720-degree all-around protection system. Powering the SUV is the Shield plug-in hybrid-specific battery, which not only complies with the latest national standards but has also passed extreme testing conditions, setting a new safety benchmark among new energy SUVs.

Three AI technologies—cabin, chassis, and intelligent driving—set new standards

While traditional flagship SUVs still compete on specifications and materials, the Galaxy M9 ushers in an era of “AI-driven competition.” As the first model to implement Geely’s all-domain AI strategy, the M9 achieves several industry firsts in intelligent mobility.

Its AI intelligent cockpit debuts the Galaxy Flyme Auto 2 system, supported by the Qualcomm 8295 chip for smooth, responsive performance. The highlight is Eva, the world’s first large-scale, deployable, highly human-like emotional AI. With over 20 natural conversational capabilities and full end-to-end voice interaction, Eva marks a leap from simple command execution to proactive, humanized assistance.

The audio-visual experience is equally impressive, featuring a 30-inch 6K all-in-one screen, a 32-inch AR-HUD, a dedicated second-row entertainment display, and a 27-speaker Flyme Sound system. Together, these form an immersive entertainment matrix that rivals premium luxury brands.

The AI digital chassis further strengthens the M9’s dynamic appeal. It features a double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension, dual-chamber air springs, and CCD variable damping shock absorbers, all enabling one-touch four-wheel leveling. This delivers a balance of comfort and agility. A distributed three-motor setup provides 0–100 km/h acceleration in just 4.5 seconds, while advanced functions such as the “Waltz Turn” and single-wheel escape highlight its adaptability in diverse driving conditions.

Under the hood, the next-generation Thor EM-P AI hybrid system, combined with AI Cloud Power 2.0, intelligently optimizes energy consumption in real time. As a result, fuel economy is as low as 4.8 L/100 km under CLTC conditions, with a combined driving range exceeding 1,500 km (two-wheel drive version).

For intelligent driving, the M9 comes equipped with the Qianli Haohan H5 map-free NOA system, enabling nationwide coverage. Features include parking space-to-parking space navigation and AEB with a maximum braking speed of 130 km/h.
