P235GH and P265GH are two non-alloy steel grades with specified elevated temperature properties that are commonly used in high-temperature applications such as boilers, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.

Difference in Chemical Composition

P265GH:
With its superior strength, P265GH is ideal for more demanding applications, such as:High-pressure steam boilers, Pressure vessels, Industrial pipelines carrying high-temperature fluids, Weldability and Fabrication

P235GH: Easier to weld due to its lower carbon content, making it a preferred choice for projects where welding is frequent.

P265GH: Still weldable but may require preheating or other precautions due to its higher carbon equivalent.
