Tesla Model 3 Exterior Design

The new Tesla Model 3 adopts a fully enclosed “light wing” front design. The width of the daytime running lights has been reduced by 40%, with the light strip extending to the fenders to create a hawk-eye-like visual impact. At the rear, the dual C-shaped through-type taillights echo the smoked black logo. Combined with the hidden rear camera design, the drag coefficient has been optimized to 0.22 Cd. Notably, the body length has been increased to 4,720 mm (+26 mm), while the wheelbase remains 2,875 mm. Through a restructured cabin layout, rear knee space has been increased by 15 mm.

Powertrain

• The RWD version is equipped with a 194 kW motor and delivers a CLTC range of over 630 km, powered by a 66 kWh LFP battery.

• The Performance version features dual motors with a peak output of 331 kW, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, and offers a range of up to 730 km.

Chassis Tuning Innovation

A new frequency-responsive damper improves energy absorption over speed bumps by 25%. Together with rear-wheel steering (up to 10° steering angle), the turning radius has been reduced to just 5.6 meters.

Smart Cabin
All physical stalks have been removed, with functions such as turn signals and wipers integrated into the Yoke steering wheel touch control area. While this requires some adaptation, interaction efficiency is improved by 30%. Newly added features address key user needs:

• 256-color ambient lighting runs across the dashboard and door panels, supporting music-synchronized effects.

• An 8-inch rear touchscreen allows independent control of climate and entertainment.

• The front trunk has been expanded to 114 L and now supports power opening and closing.
