The vehicle will be available in five exterior colors: Pine Valley Green, Liquid Silver, Metallic Black, Sky Dome Gray, and Electro White.

The vehicle’s profile features relatively straight side lines and a standard full-size SUV body structure. A straight waistline runs the entire length of the side, while the window frames incorporate wraparound chrome trim. Hidden door handles complement the minimalist design, with door panels featuring no excessive sculpting to maintain simplicity. The front and rear fenders slightly flare outward, with the front fender housing camera hardware. The wheel arches accommodate semi-closed 21-inch alloy wheels, enhancing the vehicle’s luxurious appeal.

Leapmotor D19 Extended Range

The Leapmotor D19 Extended Range model features an 80.3 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC pure electric range of 500 kilometers. It pioneers extended-range CTC battery technology and incorporates an innovative integrated sill exhaust system, maximizing chassis space for battery capacity. The range-extended variant operates on an 800V platform, achieving a 30%-80% charge in just 15 minutes. It incorporates a 40L fuel tank and a dual-energy motor all-wheel-drive range-extended system utilizing an integrated drive-generator unit. This powertrain reduces weight by over 60 kg compared to traditional range-extended systems while boosting overall range by 5%. The range-extended model delivers a maximum power output of 400 kW.

The pure-electric variant employs a 1000V platform with triple-motor technology, delivering a combined power output of 540 kW and achieving 0–100 km/h acceleration in the 3-second range. It utilizes CATL’s latest hybrid battery cells with a capacity of 115 kWh, offering a pure-electric range of 720 kilometers. Leveraging the 1000V platform, the pure-electric model can replenish over 350 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes.

Leapmotor D19 Chassis-wise

Chassis-wise, the new vehicle features a dual-chamber closed-loop air suspension with CDC adjustable damping. The front suspension employs a double-wishbone setup, while the rear utilizes a five-link configuration. It is paired with MKC2 brake-by-wire technology, a Bosch R-EPS steering system, and the LMC 2.0 chassis control system. This setup supports pre-steering active control, dual-wheel blowout control, and 3.6-meter-class compass turns.

Leapmotor D19 Intelligence-wise

Intelligence-wise, the cabin is built on the LEAP 4.0 central domain control architecture, debuting with dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 Prime chips delivering 1280 TOPS of computing power. It supports VLA assisted driving, including park-to-park functionality. The cabin also incorporates an edge-side large model system with AI interaction capabilities.

Safety

Safety features include an active AEB braking system operating between 4–150 km/h and an active emergency steering assist (AES) system active between 80–130 km/h. Configuration-wise, the vehicle comes fully equipped with amenities including a TV, refrigerator, and spacious sofa. It features 120-degree reclining zero-gravity seats, an onboard oxygen generator, and laminated soundproof glass. Seating configurations offer flexible layouts for 5, 6, or 7 passengers.
