All-New GWM ORA 5 Exterior

The overall exterior design remains consistent with the “cat” series models. The circular headlights feature projector lenses with integrated turn signals and daytime running lights. The front bumper adopts a large trapezoidal cooling intake flanked by vertically arranged air vents. Additionally, the roof houses a LiDAR unit that enables advanced driver assistance functions.

Viewed from the side, the vehicle features two-tone exterior mirrors, traditional door handles, and roof rails. It also offers optional 18-inch alloy wheels. Dimensions are 4,471 mm in length, 1,833 mm (or 1,844 mm) in width, and 1,641 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm.

The rear end maintains a clean aesthetic, with taillights integrated into the rear window and extending across the width of the vehicle. The high-mounted brake light merges with the spoiler to create a sporty appearance.

Inside, the cabin adopts a brown-and-beige two-tone color scheme, presenting a harmonious and minimalist ambiance. Behind the solid-color dual-spoke steering wheel sits a digital instrument cluster, complemented by a large central touchscreen that enhances the tech-forward feel. Below the air vents, several physical toggle switches remain, finished in chrome for a premium touch. A single wireless fast-charging pad for smartphones is positioned at the front edge of the center console.

The second row features dedicated air vents with a climate control panel below. A large panoramic sunroof allows abundant natural light, and the rear seats support split-folding functionality.

Power

Power comes from a 150 kW electric motor paired with HONEYCOMB Energy’s lithium iron phosphate blade-type battery packs. Two capacities are available—45.3 kWh and 58.3 kWh—delivering ranges of 480 km and 580 km, respectively. The vehicle also incorporates a brake-by-wire system supplied by Figatech EAi.
