The all-new pure-electric CLA adopts Mercedes-Benz’s latest design language. Its redesigned closed front grille incorporates a three-pointed star motif, complemented by a continuous star-ring light strip and polygonal headlight clusters on either side, delivering strong visual recognition.

At the rear, the full-width taillights combine with a subtly upturned ducktail spoiler for a distinctly sporty stance. Dimensions measure 4,763 / 1,836 / 1,471 mm (L / W / H), with a 2,830 mm wheelbase—40 mm longer than the standard-wheelbase model—and a 10 mm increase in rear seat cushion length.

Inside, the cabin adopts a fresh design language. A triple-screen setup comprising a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch central infotainment display, and a 14-inch passenger-side entertainment screen delivers a strong tech-forward feel. Additionally, the vehicle runs the MB.OS operating system, offering features such as MBUX Immersive Navigation, passenger-side entertainment screen interaction, and the Mercedes Virtual Assistant powered by integrated 3D graphics technology and the Doubao AI large model. It supports in-vehicle voice interaction, multi-zone audio interaction, and full-scenario interruption capabilities.

Powertrain

Powered by the Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA), the vehicle incorporates three key features: an 800V electrical architecture, a new electric drive unit, and the MB.OS operating system. Specifically, the Mercedes-Benz long-wheelbase CLA electric model has already completed certification for select variants, with single-motor configurations delivering up to 272 horsepower. The new vehicle is equipped with an 89 kWh ternary lithium battery, delivering an 866 km range under CLTC conditions with an energy consumption of 10.9 kWh per 100 km.
