Flattening test
A flattening test must be conducted on each end specimen of one finished pipe (other than the one used for the flaring test) in each batch.

Flange test
In each batch, one specimen from each end of a finished pipe must be used for a flange test, other than the specimens used for the flattening test.

Reverse bending test
One specimen per 1500 feet [450 meters] of finished pipe must be subjected to a reverse bend test.

Hydrostatic or non-destructive electrical testing
Each pipe shall be subjected to a hydrostatic test or a non-destructive electrical test. The purchaser may specify which test is used.

Grain size
Grain size determinations for grades TP309H, TP309HCb, TP310H and TP310HCb must be carried out on the same number of steel pipes specified.
