What is CCS shipbuilding steel plate?

CCS shipbuilding steel refers to ship steel materials that meet the standards of the China Classification Society. CCS is one of the internationally recognized classification societies, providing classification and certification services for ships and offshore engineering equipment.

Classification of CCS Ship Steel

CCS shipbuilding steel can be classified into multiple grades based on its usage and performance.

  • Normal Strength Hull Structural Steel: CCS Grades A, B, D, E
  • High Strength Hull Structural Steel: CCS Grades AH32, DH32, EH32, AH36, DH36, EH36
  • Extra High Strength Hull Structural Steel: CCS Grades AH40, DH40, EH40
