Its front fascia features uninterrupted full-width headlights (236 LEDs) with ultra-thin high/low-beam lenses, delivering 21% brighter illumination and 27% wider coverage. Paired with an illuminated brand logo, it achieves strong visual recognition. Higher trims also incorporate a LiDAR sensor and blue auxiliary driving lights.

With dimensions of 4,885 × 1,916 × 1,496 mm and a wheelbase of 2,922 mm, the vehicle maximizes cabin space through the SDA intelligent super digital platform, achieving an exceptional 90% space utilization rate. The side profile showcases elegant, dynamic lines, achieving an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.205 Cd. Detailed design elements include frameless doors, semi-concealed mechanical door handles, and frameless rearview mirrors. The model offers 18-inch and 19-inch wheel options, balancing aesthetic appeal with enhanced brake cooling efficiency.

The taillights feature a matrix design with 274 integrated LED elements. The Changan Qiyuan logo sits centrally within the taillight assembly, prominently highlighting the brand identity. The taillights support software-enabled customizable light animations, including a flowing welcome effect. Additionally, the illuminated Qiyuan logos at both ends double as hidden electric switches for the front and rear hatches — a double tap opens or closes them. The vehicle offers six exterior color options: Pine Shadow Black, Cloud Sail White, Skyline Gray, Floating Light Silver, Glazed Blue, and Sunset Purple, all finished with paint quality comparable to that of Lincoln vehicles.

The interior adopts an eco-friendly design featuring 256-color ambient lighting. Soft-touch materials cover 90.6% of the cabin, including the B-pillar and C-pillar armrests, all finished in skin-friendly Nappa-textured upholstery for a smooth, supple feel. Interior color options include Pearl White, Elegance Gray, and Cloud Dream Purple. All seats come equipped with ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Compared with the Qiyuan A07, the center display is slimmer with narrower bezels, while the new infotainment system delivers smoother performance. It also introduces voiceprint recognition for more intuitive interaction between passengers and the system.

Another design highlight is the intelligent rotary knob, which supports customizable functions. Frequently used features can be set for one-touch access. It supports multiple control methods — tap, press, swipe in all directions, and rotate to reset — allowing users to easily adjust settings such as air-conditioning temperature and audio volume. The combined trunk capacity reaches 764 liters, with a spacious and deep rear compartment featuring “tap-to-open” smart functionality.

Powertrain

Powertrain options include both pure electric and extended-range variants, built on an 800V high-voltage SiC (silicon carbide) platform. The pure electric variant features motors delivering maximum outputs of 120 kW or 210 kW, depending on the configuration. The suspension system employs a double-wishbone front and five-link rear independent setup, with front control arms and front/rear steering knuckles made entirely of aluminum. The extended-range model utilizes a 1.5L engine-based range-extender system producing a maximum power of 72 kW.

The high-voltage electric drive version delivers a maximum power of 210 kW and peak torque of 290 N·m, achieving 0–100 km/h acceleration in 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 188 km/h. The vehicle also supports simultaneous power supply inside and outside the cabin, enabling AC power use while driving. The trunk includes a 220V outlet with 2.2 kW power for plug-and-play convenience. External power output peaks at 6 kW, supporting outdoor activities such as lighting, cooking, and water heating using the vehicle’s power supply.

In terms of safety, the Changan Qiyuan A06 features an Ark-style cage-type steel-aluminum hybrid body structure, with over 82.9% of the frame constructed from high-strength steel and aluminum alloy. It incorporates a dual front anti-collision beam design, with the primary beam made of 3 mm-thick aluminum alloy. The vehicle also adopts an integrated hot-formed door ring structure, significantly enhancing body rigidity and crash safety. The battery pack uses a four-horizontal-three-vertical aluminum alloy protective frame with dual-seal reinforcement and a 4-top/6-bottom layer defense design. Its underbody protection withstands 300 J of impact — twice the requirement of the latest national standard — effectively safeguarding battery integrity. Built-in smoke sensors provide 24/7 safety monitoring, triggering alerts within 30 seconds (far faster than the 300-second national standard threshold), buying critical escape time for occupants in extreme conditions.
