Chery Tiggo 8 Exterior Design

The exterior draws inspiration from the forces of nature, showcasing two unique front-end options. One version largely retains the styling of the current Tiggo 8 PLUS, while the other adopts an octagonal grille with a bold, open-mouth design and a dot-matrix chrome pattern. Matrix LED headlights flank the grille, and the fog light area features diagonal lines and chrome trim for added visual appeal.

From the side, the new Tiggo 8 features semi-concealed door handles and 19-inch alloy wheels, measuring 4,749 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,825 mm.

At the rear, the model features newly designed full-width taillights, with the “CHERY” emblem positioned above for a modern look. The lower bumper varies by version: one adopts a concealed exhaust design, while the other features dual-exit exhaust trims.

Interior Design

Inside the cabin, two layout options will be available. One retains the current Tiggo 8 PLUS setup with a digital instrument cluster and a horizontal central touchscreen. The other replaces the horizontal display with a larger vertical screen and introduces refined interior details. A redesigned dual-spoke steering wheel and updated door handles further elevate the cabin, with overall equipment levels expected to be improved.

Powertrain

Powertrain options, based on the current Tiggo 8 PLUS lineup, include 1.6T and 2.0T engines.
The 1.6T engine delivers a maximum output of 145 kW and is paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, while the 2.0T engine produces up to 187 kW and comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
