DIN EN 10130 DC01 1.0330 Material Cold Rolled Steel Sheet

DC01 steel (1.0330 material) is a European standard cold-rolled quality low-carbon steel flat product for cold forming. DC01 steel, or 1.0330, is a non-alloy quality steel with low carbon. Made as flat sheets by cold rolling, it has a smooth surface and good formability. Types include DC01-A, DC01-B, and electro-galvanized DC01+ZE (1.0330+ZE) under EN 10152. Related standards are EN 10130 and EN 10131. Variants DC03 to DC07 offer better formability. It is used for automotive parts, appliances, and metal products.

Surface Type of EN 10130 DC01 1.0330 Material

  • Surface A

Errors such as pores, small grooves, small warts, minor scratches and minor discoloration are tolerated that do not affect the ability to reshape and adhere to the surface coating.

  • Surface B

The better side must be defect-free so that the uniform appearance of the quality finish or electrolytic coating is not affected. The other side must meet at least the requirements for a Type A surface.

  • Surface finish

The surface finish may be particularly smooth, matte or rough. If no details are given when ordering, the surface finish will be delivered in a matte finish. The four listed surface finishes corresponding to the central roughness values must be tested according to EN 10049.
