What is EN 10216-2 X11CrMo5 Seamless Steel Tube?

In specification EN10216-2 there are three typies X11CrMo5 seamless pipes as X11CrMo5+I seamless steel pipes,X11CrMo5+NT1 steel tube,X11CrMo5+NT2 boiler steel pipes. I is for isothermal annealing at Temperature 890-950 Deg.C.

EN 10216-2 Grade X11CrMo5+NT2 Alloy Steel Seamless Tubes have a typical chemistry with additions of 4.00-6.00 Chromium and 0.45-0.65 Molybdenum. Bearing minimum tensile strength of 570 Mpa and maximum tensile strength 740 Mpa, EN 10216-2 Grade X11CrMo5+NT2 Tubes have a minimum yield strength of 390 Mpa.

X11CrMo5+NT1 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, which obtains stable mechanical properties through precision rolling and heat treatment processes (such as normalizing + tempering, i.e. NT1 state). Its alloy composition is chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo) as the core, giving the material high strength, high temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for high temperature environments of 400-650℃. This material complies with the EN 10216-2 standard and is commonly used in the manufacture of high-pressure pipelines, boiler components and oil cracking equipment.

EN 10216-2 Grade X11CrMo5+I Seamless Alloy Steel Tubes are reheated and furnished in full annealed, isothermal annealed or normalised quenched and tempered condition. EN 10216-2 Grade X11CrMo5+I Alloy Steel Seamless Tubes have a typical chemistry with additions of 4.00-6.00 Chromium and 0.45-0.65 Molybdenum.Bearing minimum tensile strength of 430 Mpa and maximum tensile strength 580 Mpa, EN 10216-2 Grade X11CrMo5+I Tubes have a minimum yield strength of 175 Mpa.
