What is LR Grade AH36 Shipbuilding Steel Plate?

LR Grade AH36 Shipbuilding Steel Plate is a high-strength structural steel plate certified by Lloyd’s Register (LR) for use in shipbuilding and offshore engineering. It is part of the ASTM A131/A131M standard for marine steel grades.

Heat Treatment State

LR AH36 marine steel plate is usually supplied in hot rolled state, which has high hardness and good processability and formability. If it is necessary to increase its hardness or improve its corrosion resistance, surface treatment or coating treatment can be carried out.
