What is Q355GNH steel?

Q355GNH is weathering steel, that is, atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel. It is a low-alloy steel series between ordinary steel and stainless steel. Weathering steel is made of ordinary carbon steel with a small amount of corrosion-resistant elements such as copper and nickel. It has the characteristics of high-quality steel. Strength and toughness, plastic elongation, forming, welding and cutting, abrasion, high temperature, fatigue resistance and other characteristics; high weathering steel, according to the standard, is divided into four grades: Q295GNH, Q355GNH, Q265GNH, Q310GNH; welding weathering steel, according to the standard, is divided into Q235NH, Q295NH, Q355NH, Q415NH, Q460NH, Q500NH, Q550NH seven grades.
