Q890 High strength steel

High strength steel is a type of alloy steel that provides better mechanical properties and greater resistance to corrosion than conventional carbon steel. High strength steels are steels with yield strength levels in excess of 550 MPa.It is used in bridge building, mining, crane construction, mechanical engineering, safety constructions and in the offshore industry. As high-strength steel is available from very thin sheet thicknesses, it is also used in the automotive industry.
