What is S960QL Steel？

S960QL Plate is a structural steel grade with a minimum yield strength of 960–1150 MPa, depending on thickness. Typical applications include demanding load-bearing structures.

It is widely used in the manufacturing of mine truck floors, pumping machinery, excavators, truck cranes, crawler cranes, and coal mine hydraulic supports, among others.

Due to the nature of the material, it is extensively used in the heavy transport, lifting, and mining industries, where huge payloads and the risk of material deterioration through excessive abrasion are commonplace.

Produced in accordance with EN 10025-6:2004, S960QL offers good bending and welding capabilities.
