On November 3, the SAIC Volkswagen Lavida Pro made its debut and officially rolled off the production line. As the newest addition to the “Pro” series, the model features upgrades in exterior design, intelligent systems, and powertrain technology. It offers two front fascia options and is powered by a 1.5T EVOⅡ engine. The automaker announced that the vehicle will officially launch on November 17.

SAlC-Volkswagen Lavida Pro 2026 Exterior

In terms of exterior design, the new model adopts SAIC Volkswagen Pro’s latest design language, blending elegance with dynamism. It offers two front fascia options: the Classic Edition maintains a German-inspired, composed presence with a horizontal chrome arrow-pattern lower grille, while the Starry Edition features a futuristic Star Diamond Energy Obsidian lower grille. Combined with tech-inspired LED headlights, a full-width LED light strip, and an illuminated logo, the front end delivers a striking visual impact.

Viewed from the side, the vehicle’s character line, door crease, and rear fender contours have been softened compared with the current model, with metallic chrome accents highlighting the window frames. The new model offers 15-, 16-, and 17-inch wheel options. The rear adopts a cleaner design with a full-width taillight, balancing elegance and sportiness. Dimensions measure 4,720/1,806/1,482 mm (L/W/H), with a 2,688 mm wheelbase.

Inside, the cabin follows Volkswagen’s Pro family design language, featuring a floating central touchscreen paired with a standalone digital instrument cluster. The center console includes a wireless charging pad for smartphones, and the vehicle supports Apple CarPlay, CarLife, and HUAWEI HiCar connectivity.

Powering the Lavida Pro is the EA211 1.5T EVOⅡ engine, which integrates advanced technologies including high-efficiency VTG variable-geometry turbocharging, a 350-bar ultra-fine fuel injection system, and a high-compression-ratio Miller cycle.
