2025 XPeng G7 Design

The XPeng G7 adopts a flowing curved body design, featuring an innovative short front overhang and long rear overhang ratio that creates a strong sense of fluid, light-and-shadow aesthetics. This not only effectively reduces drag but also enhances interior space. The floating frameless side mirrors adopt a minimalist design, integrated with a blue auxiliary driving indicator light, and combine multiple functions such as heating, folding, memory, auto-tilt in reverse, and blind spot detection. Both front and rear rows are equipped with soft-close doors, which shut securely with just a gentle push, balancing aesthetics and practicality.

At the front, the styling continues XPeng’s second-generation family design, X FACE, integrating the Star Sword light signature with aerodynamic side air curtains to reduce drag. Paired with a fully integrated active air intake grille that offers 100% adjustable positions, it achieves an ideal balance between aerodynamics and cooling. At the rear, highly recognizable ring-shaped taillights combined with a blue light accent convey both a sense of technology and sportiness.

Inside, the XPeng G7 features a wraparound dashboard paired with a 3D floating center console. European G3 curved real wood veneers, satin-metallic trims crafted with PVD vacuum coating technology, a microfiber suede headliner, and Nappa top-grain leather surfaces cover the cabin extensively, creating a rich layering of wood, metal, and leather textures. All materials are certified by LWG Gold and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 (infant-grade safety), ensuring an environmentally friendly, soft, and premium baby-grade comfort cabin. Adding a touch of uniqueness, XPeng has embedded a custom Morse code element in the G7, serving as a “secret code” that connects the car with its owners and their families.

The G7 is also fitted with next-generation Cloud Comfort Seats, featuring a class-leading 12-layer structure. They come with heating, ventilation, massage, memory, and full electric adjustment, delivering a “first-class seat experience” for every passenger. A 256-color ambient lighting system uses indirect reflection for an immersive atmosphere, while a massive 2.17m² panoramic sunroof with dual-layer silver-coated Low-E glass blocks 99.9% of UV rays, protecting passengers like a pair of sunglasses for the whole family—an excellent showcase of XPeng’s balance between technology and human-centered care.

The XPeng G7 provides premium in-car entertainment with a 20-speaker 7.1.4 surround sound system, creating an immersive audio experience. A 15.6-inch floating central display, paired with an 8-inch rear entertainment screen, ensures rich multimedia access for all passengers. A 9-inch streaming rearview mirror adapts to all weather conditions, while Apple UWB smart key technology enables centimeter-level precision positioning, supporting smart welcome at 9 meters and automatic unlocking at 4 meters—delivering a sense of ceremony every time the driver approaches the vehicle.

Space

The G7 boasts an impressive 88% cabin efficiency rate, offering 1,062 mm of front headroom and 1,035 mm at the rear, ensuring a genuinely spacious travel environment. Even passengers as tall as 1.9 meters can sit comfortably inside, with enough headroom left to “fit a watermelon”—a playful way of highlighting its outstanding space.

The G7 offers the largest-in-class rear trunk capacity of 819L, expandable up to 2,277L. This means it can hold as many as 37 standard 20-inch suitcases, so family trips never have to be limited by luggage space.

AR-HUD Innovation

For the first time, the XPeng G7 comes with an AR-HUD co-developed with Huawei, projecting an 87-inch display that blends seamlessly with real-world road conditions. It delivers lane-level navigation, driver assistance, and safety alerts in all driving scenarios.

For example, the AR light carpet can project navigation routes directly onto the road surface. In extreme weather, such as heavy rain or fog, it can automatically highlight the vehicle ahead and mark lane boundaries, making driving safer and more reassuring.
