The midsize-to-large all-purpose SUV iCAR V27 will debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November. Chery is positioning the iCAR brand as a personalized, boxy SUV lineup, with a stronger focus on developing the V series. Following the V23, the iCAR V27 is finally set to make its official debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November. This model is no longer a pure electric vehicle but an extended-range variant, significantly larger than the V23 and positioned as a midsize-to-large SUV.

The iCAR V27 continues the V23’s retro-inspired boxy design philosophy while integrating modern styling cues. Its robust front and rear bumpers, flared wheel arches, and externally mounted spare tire all emphasize its rugged character. Dimensions come in at 4909 mm in length, 1976 mm in width, and 1894 mm in height, with a 2910 mm wheelbase.

Officially defined as a midsize-to-large all-terrain SUV, it is expected to deliver capable off-road performance while retaining a unibody construction. A high-end variant equipped with lidar and Horizon’s top-tier chip will also be offered.

Power comes from a 1.5T range-extended system with a maximum engine output of 115 kW. Both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations will be available, with the AWD variant expected to deliver up to 335 kW of maximum power. The CLTC pure electric range is rated at 200 km, while the combined range is projected to exceed 1,000 kilometers.
