The Volkswagen ID. ERA will enter mass production in April next year. This extended-range SUV boasts a combined range of over 1,000 km. Its intelligent driver assistance system enables highway, urban, and point-to-point navigation-assisted driving with full-scenario coverage, all without map dependency. The wraparound digital cockpit leverages a multimodal AI model to deliver holistic perception, instant emotional recognition, and intuitive interaction.

The SAIC Volkswagen ID. ERA concept is a large SUV powered by an extended-range system. Its imposing front end features a full-width LED light strip and an illuminated Volkswagen logo, complemented by two rectangular LED daytime running lights below, creating a futuristic yet commanding presence.

From the side, the vehicle’s tall stance is defined by flowing yet muscular lines. The gently sloping rear roofline counterbalances the bulk, adding a touch of agility. The rear features a full-width taillight and a red illuminated Volkswagen logo, creating a distinctly futuristic look. The vehicle is confirmed to have a combined range of over 1,000 kilometers.

Additionally, SAIC Volkswagen announced plans to add 100 new dealerships this year and launch six new energy models next year, including two extended-range electric vehicles, three plug-in hybrids, and one pure electric model.
