This week will see the launch or debut of several major new models, including the all-new Audi Q5L, all-new Audi A6L, Wuling Starlight 560, Beijing Off-Road BJ40 Explorer, and Zhengzhou Nissan Jinruiqi.

The all-new Audi Q5L commenced pre-sales earlier, offering four variants with a price range of $44645.37 to $54915.27. The exterior retains Audi’s latest family design language, featuring Star Matrix headlights with 16 independently controlled high-beam zones. These support intelligent adaptive lighting, dynamic cornering lights, bend illumination, and welcome light sequences. Body colours include Legend Black, Qingcheng Green, Jasmine White, Mandalorian Silver, and Khaki Brown. Dimensions measure 4842/1900/1660mm (L/W/H), with a 2945mm wheelbase. At the rear, the Dragon Scale Water Rhythm taillights incorporate second-generation digital OLED technology, offering eight signature light patterns.

The all-new Audi A6L retains the design language of its overseas counterpart. The 2.0T variant offers a choice of 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels, while the 3.0T model features 21-inch multi-spoke wheels. Dimensions measure 5142/1874 (1887)/1450 (1464) mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3066 mm. Compared to the current model’s dimensions of 5050/1886/1475 mm with a 3024 mm wheelbase, the new model sees an increase of 92 mm in length and 1 mm in width, while height is reduced by 11 mm. As a long-wheelbase variant, it extends the wheelbase of the standard-wheelbase A6 by 132 mm to 3066 mm—a figure that surpasses even the wheelbase of the standard-wheelbase A8.

The Starlight 560 commenced pre-sales earlier, offering four variants with launch reservation prices ranging from $9099.10 to $14663.09, while launch benefit prices stand at $8530.98 to $14092.54. The Starlight 560 offers consumers a choice of three powertrain options: petrol, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric. The petrol variant features a 1.5T high-torque engine delivering a maximum power output of 130 kW and peak torque of 290 N·m. Transmission options include a CVT gearbox and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The plug-in hybrid variant incorporates Lingxi Power 3.0 technology, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 125 kilometres and a combined range exceeding 1,100 kilometres. The all-electric model features an integrated drive motor system with a maximum power output of 100 kW, paired with a 60 kWh Shenlian battery pack, achieving a pure-electric range of 500 kilometres under CLTC conditions.
