The Chery Fulwin A9L Falcon 700 Edition and four-seat version will officially launch on November 15. The Fulwin A9L serves as the flagship sedan under Chery’s Fulwin brand, positioned as a mid-to-large-sized vehicle. It is equipped with the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM 6.0 system, featuring a 1.5T plug-in hybrid powertrain. Other variants have already been released, with four configurations priced between $21162 and $29351.

Exterior

The model features a closed-off front grille paired with a full-width LED light strip. The rectangular headlights are flanked by vertical air vents integrated into the front bumper, while a trapezoidal cooling intake sits at the center, accented by chrome trim along the front lip.

From the side, the Fulwin A9L presents a sleek midsize sedan silhouette, with a streamlined roofline, flush door handles, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. The vehicle achieves an impressive drag coefficient of just 0.23. At the rear, a full-width taillight assembly echoes the front-end design, complemented by chrome accents on the bumper. Dimensions measure 5018mm in length, 1965mm in width, and 1500mm in height, with a 3000mm wheelbase.

Inside, the cabin features a fully digital instrument cluster paired with a two-tone, dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The floating multimedia touchscreen dominates the center console, which also incorporates air vents, physical control buttons, a wireless charging pad, and dual independent cup holders. The four-seat variant adopts a more elegant brown/beige two-tone color scheme. Rear passengers benefit from a dedicated seat control panel supporting ventilation, heating, and massage functions. The center backrest area now features an integrated climate-controlled storage compartment, enhancing the vehicle’s executive appeal and sense of luxury.

Both the Falcon 700 Edition and four-seat variant are equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and additional driver assistance hardware. According to official information, Chery’s Falcon Intelligent Driving system is available in three levels—500, 700, and 900. The Falcon 700 setup includes a 126-line LiDAR unit paired with dual DRIVE Orin chips, delivering 560 TOPS of computing power to enable end-to-end intelligent driving assistance. This system supports features such as urban and highway NOA (Navigation on Autopilot), valet parking, and intelligent vehicle summon.

Powertrain Specs

In terms of powertrain, the Fulwin A9L lineup adopts the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM 6.0 system, combining a 1.5T Kunpeng Super Hybrid engine with an electric motor. The engine itself produces 156 horsepower (115 kW), while the single-motor variant delivers 374 horsepower (275 kW) and 530 Nm of peak torque. The Snow Leopard AWD dual-motor variant generates a combined output of 639 horsepower (470 kW) and 854 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted via the Hybrid DHT Pro gearbox. The vehicle uses Kunpeng Fangdao batteries with a 33.67 kWh capacity, enabling a CLTC pure-electric range of 260 kilometers and a combined range exceeding 2,500 kilometers.
