Heat Treatment:

SPV355 steel plates are generally supplied in the normalized condition. Normalization is a heat treatment process that involves heating the steel to a temperature above its upper critical point and then cooling it in air. This process refines the grain structure and improves the mechanical properties of the steel.

 

Low-Temperature Impact Test:

SPV355 steel plates are subjected to a low-temperature impact test at -10°C to ensure their toughness and resistance to brittle fracture at low temperatures. The minimum impact energy required is 47J.
