Arcfox Alpha T5 2026 Exterior

The front fascia of the new Arcfox Alpha T5 features multiple refinements. It now incorporates an active grille, removes the black trim between the headlights, and replaces the side air intakes on the front bumper with smaller triangular vents, resulting in a cleaner overall appearance. Additionally, the vehicle achieves a drag coefficient of 0.243 Cd.

Side profile updates follow the same design philosophy, removing the additional black trim from the front fenders. At the rear, faux vent-like lines have been added to the rear fenders, complementing the redesigned rear bumper to enhance its sporty character.

The new model measures 4,760 mm in length, 1,936 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,845 mm. Its overall length has increased compared to the previous generation. Official data indicates that trunk storage capacity ranges from 400 L to 1,546 L.

The Ruixiang Edition comes equipped with multiple active safety features, including full-length side curtain airbags, lane departure warning, the Level 2 Alpha-Pilot assisted driving system, and an electric/sensor-activated trunk. Its overall configuration sits between the previous PRO and MAX trims. Additionally, features such as seat massage, external power supply, and an 18-speaker audio system—unavailable on the previous model—are now standard on the new mid-to-high trims.

Upgrades to the intelligent driving assistance system are also notable. Beyond the entry-level α-Pilot system mentioned earlier, mid-to-high-end models now feature the BAIC Yuanjing driving assistance system. The hardware setup includes seven cameras (including dual-lens front cameras), twelve ultrasonic radars, three millimeter-wave radars, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8775 chip. Functionally, it now supports traffic sign recognition, full-scenario intelligent parking assistance, and NOA capabilities for both urban and highway driving.

Power 

Powertrain specifications: Pure-electric models feature a single motor with maximum power outputs of 185 kW (250 hp) or 200 kW (272 hp), delivering peak torques of 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) or 360 Nm (266 lb-ft). Battery capacities are 64.8 kWh, 74.4 kWh, or 79.2 kWh, yielding CLTC ranges of 560 km (348 miles), 660 km (410 miles), or 705 km (438 miles).

The extended-range variant features a 1.5L range-extender system with a generator output of 77 kW and an electric motor delivering 200 kW and 365 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 6.5 seconds, with a pure-electric range of 215 km and a combined range of 1,215 km.
