New Model Launches in November

This issue brings you several major new models launching in November.
Among sedans, highlights include the all-new Volkswagen Lavida Pro, Nissan Teana PLUS, all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA L, and Changan Qiyuan A06 (specifications | pricing).

The SUV lineup features over ten models, including the Lynk & Co Taishan, Haval H6L, Exeed ET5, and the all-new Chery Tiggo 8.

Volkswagen All-New Lavida Pro

Launch Date: Expected November

As the newest member of the “Pro” series, this model receives upgrades in exterior design, intelligent systems, and powertrain technology.
In terms of exterior design, the new model adopts SAIC Volkswagen Pro’s latest design language, blending elegance and dynamism. It offers two front fascia options—Classic Edition and Starry Sky Edition—alongside 15-, 16-, and 17-inch wheel choices.

The rear adopts a more streamlined design with a full-width taillight, maintaining an overall balanced aesthetic. Dimensions measure 4720mm in length, 1806mm in width, and 1482mm in height, with a 2688mm wheelbase.

The interior follows the Volkswagen Pro family styling, featuring a floating central touchscreen paired with a standalone digital instrument cluster. The center console includes a wireless phone charging pad. Connectivity options include Apple CarPlay, CarLife, and HUAWEI HiCar.

Powering the Lavida Pro is the EA211 1.5T EVOⅡ engine, integrating advanced technologies, including high-efficiency VTG variable-geometry turbocharging, a 350-bar ultra-atomized fuel injection system, and a high-compression-ratio Miller cycle. This engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Nissan All-New Teana

Launch Date: Within November

As the model’s second mid-cycle facelift, the Nissan Teana PLUS features optimized exterior and interior upgrades while retaining the current model’s powertrain.
The exterior adopts a new V-Motion front fascia, with a wing-inspired grille accented by feather-like details, creating a more expansive and sophisticated appearance. The LED star-ring light signature enhances the overall technological aesthetic.

The new model gains a slight 14mm increase in body length to 4920mm, while other dimensions remain unchanged. Additionally, a two-tone body color option is available to enhance the vehicle’s premium feel. The car will also offer 17-inch and 19-inch wheel options.

Mercedes-Benz All-New All-Electric EQCLA L

Launch Date: November 5

The all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA 300 L electric sedan has commenced pre-sales with two variants priced between ¥259,000 and ¥299,000.
According to prior certification data, a CLA 260 L model will also launch. This variant features a motor with a maximum power output of 165kW—slightly lower than the CLA 300 L’s 200kW—and is expected to serve as the new entry-level model.

The all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA L adopts the brand’s latest design language, offering strong visual recognition. Dimensions measure 4763/1836/1471mm (L/W/H), with a 2830mm wheelbase—40mm longer than the standard-wheelbase model—and the rear seat cushion length increases by 10mm.

Geely All-New Emgrand

Launch Date: Within November

The all-new Geely Emgrand adopts Geely’s 4.0 family design language, featuring adjustments to the grille, headlights, and overall proportions. Compared to the current model, the design is more sporty and stylish. The three-segment LED daytime running lights and elongated headlight clusters provide an illumination distance exceeding 170 meters.

Positioned as a compact sedan, the new model offers comprehensive dimensional upgrades over its predecessor, measuring 4815/1885/1480mm (L/W/H) with a 2755mm wheelbase.

The interior offers three color schemes: black, gray, and brown. It features a digital instrument cluster paired with a 14.6-inch floating central touchscreen, integrating the Flyme Auto smart cockpit system. The cabin includes perforated leather seats, a dual-tone multifunctional leather steering wheel, and extensive soft-touch materials throughout.

Under the hood, the vehicle retains a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, while higher trims are powered by a 1.5T engine delivering 133kW of maximum power and 290N·m of peak torque. Paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, it achieves 0–100km/h acceleration in 7.9 seconds.

Changan Qiyuan A06

Launch Date: November 9

The Changan Qiyuan A06 features a seamless full-width headlight design (236 LEDs) with ultra-thin high/low-beam lenses, delivering a 21% increase in brightness and a 27% wider beam coverage. Paired with an illuminated brand logo, it offers strong visual recognition. Higher-trim models also include a laser radar and blue auxiliary driving lights.

Dimensions measure 4885mm (L) × 1916mm (W) × 1496mm (H), with a 2922mm wheelbase. Design details include frameless doors, semi-concealed mechanical door handles, and frameless rearview mirrors.

The interior adopts eco-friendly materials with 256-color ambient lighting. Soft-touch surfaces cover 90.6% of the cabin. Color options include Pearl White, Elegant Gray, and Cloud Dream Purple. All seats feature ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Rear seats offer 145° stepless recline, while the panoramic sunroof includes an electric sunshade.

Powertrain options include pure electric and extended-range variants, both built on an 800V high-voltage SiC (silicon carbide) platform. The pure electric model offers motor outputs of 120kW and 210kW, while the extended-range version incorporates a 1.5-liter engine with a maximum output of 72kW.

BMW M3 Touring

Launch Date: November 1

The BMW M3 Touring is the ultimate all-rounder, blending track-proven DNA with everyday practicality. Extensive carbon fiber components—including polygonal air intakes, mirror caps, rear diffuser, and roof spoiler—enhance its athletic stance while optimizing aerodynamics, achieving a balance between lightweight construction and aesthetic appeal.

The interior features a newly designed flat-bottom steering wheel with a red center mark, amplifying the racing ambiance. Details like the air vents have been subtly updated from silver to black, while the rest of the cabin remains consistent with the current model. It retains the 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster and 14.9-inch central touchscreen, powered by BMW Operating System 8.5.

Under the hood, the BMW M3 Touring is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine. The standard M3 delivers 480 horsepower and 550N·m of torque, utilizing rear-wheel drive. The M3 Competition produces 510 horsepower and 650N·m of torque, also rear-wheel drive. The M3 Competition xDrive gains an additional 20 horsepower over the current model, reaching 530 horsepower. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic with manual mode, though only the automatic variant may be introduced in China.

Lynk & Co Taishan

Launch Date: Within November

The Lynk & Co Taishan features a new multi-spoke grille design with chrome accents for enhanced sophistication. The illuminated front grille logo and daytime running lights span the entire fascia, complemented by split-style headlights. Equipped with four laser radars—including Huawei’s ultra-high-performance 500-beam sensor—it runs the latest HarmonyOS-based Qiankun Advanced Driving System (HUAWEI ADS 4), delivering Level 3 intelligent driving capabilities. Features include urban NCA (Neighborhood Cruise Assist) and full-scenario automated parking.

Dimensions measure 5230mm (L) × 2025mm (W) × 1817mm (H), with a 3120mm wheelbase.

The interior embraces the “Mountain and Sea Panorama” design philosophy, integrating technologies like AI Cloud Comfort Seats, the latest HarmonyOS cockpit voice model, and a 32-speaker Heavenly Sound panoramic audio system. Powered by a plug-in hybrid system (Lan Hai Intelligent Super Hybrid) combining a 1.5T engine with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive, the vehicle delivers a maximum engine output of 110kW.

It features a 63kWh ternary lithium battery pack, achieving a CLTC pure electric range of 370km and a combined range of 1,400km. The 800V high-voltage platform supports 5C ultra-fast charging, enabling a 20%–80% charge in just 12 minutes. Additionally, it debuts a triple-chamber air suspension with EDC Magic Carpet functionality and independent rear-wheel steering with 16° bidirectional capability.

Exeed ET5

Launch Date: Within November

The Exeed ET5 retains its voluminous body lines, with the headlight clusters featuring three light strips for enhanced visual impact. Multiple character lines sculpt the side profile, creating a three-dimensional effect. Additional features include a shark-fin antenna and roof spoiler.

Dimensions measure 4780mm in length, 1890mm in width, and 1725mm in height, with a 2800mm wheelbase. Wheel options include 18-, 19-, and 20-inch sizes.

Reportedly, the Exeed ET5 will be equipped with Horizon’s Super Driving (HSD) urban driving assistance system, paired with the Horizon Journey 6P intelligent driving chip. It incorporates 16 sensors, including lidar and multiple high-definition cameras. Powered by a 1.5T engine, the ET5 is an extended-range model boasting exceptional power-generation efficiency. The engine delivers a maximum output of 115kW, with a pure electric range of 165km.

Haval H6L

Launch Date: Mid-November

The Haval H6L adopts a dynamic, nature-inspired aesthetic. Its full-width light cluster features a dot-matrix design, flanked by an X-shaped bumper with integrated air vents. The lower front fascia incorporates a horizontal grille design, giving the front end strong visual recognition.

The H6L presents a dynamic side profile with taut, straight shoulder lines connecting the headlights to the taillights. Dimensions measure 4800/1895/1730mm (L/W/H), with a wheelbase of 2810mm.

Inside, the Haval H6L features a HUD display and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, utilizing the same Coffee OS 3 cockpit system as the Blue Mountain model. It comes standard with Level 2 driver assistance, including 25 active safety features such as Lane Departure Warning, Emergency Lane Keeping, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Driver Fatigue Alert.

Powering the H6L is Great Wall’s sixth-generation engine technology, featuring a 2.0T engine delivering 175kW maximum power and 385N·m peak torque. Paired with a 9DCT wet dual-clutch transmission, it achieves 0–100km/h acceleration in 7.2 seconds with a WLTC fuel consumption of 7.4L/100km.

2026 BYD Xia

Launch Date: November 4

The 2026 BYD Xia retains the exterior design of the current model, featuring a large front grille integrated with dual LED headlights. Dimensions remain unchanged at 5145/1970/1805mm (L/W/H), with a 3045mm wheelbase. The rear maintains the Dynasty family’s signature Chinese knot taillight design.

The interior remains largely unchanged, featuring a 15.6-inch central touchscreen with the DiLink infotainment system supporting voice commands for visible functions. The headrests have been optimized to a more traditional style, and the seating arrangement is 2+2+3. The front seats offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions.

Powertrain-wise, the new model adopts a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system. The engine delivers a maximum power of 156 horsepower, while the electric motor provides a peak output of 272 horsepower. The vehicle is upgraded with a larger battery pack, achieving a CLTC pure electric range of 218km. Fuel consumption under low-charge conditions is also expected to decrease. The core improvement is the increased CLTC pure electric range—from 180km to 218km.

While further details remain scarce, BYD has recently launched multiple 2026 model-year vehicles with consistent updates: extended pure electric range, reduced fuel consumption in hybrid mode, enhanced configurations, and improved compatibility with third-party accessories.

All-New Chery Tiggo 8

Launch Date: November 10

In terms of exterior design, the vehicle offers two front fascia options. One largely carries over the current Tiggo 8 PLUS design language, while the other features an octagonal grille with a large opening, adorned with a dot-matrix chrome pattern. Matrix LED headlights flank the grille, while the fog light area incorporates diagonal lines and chrome accents for enhanced visual appeal.

Dimensions measure 4749mm in length, 1880mm in width, and 1710mm in height, with a 2825mm wheelbase.

Inside, the vehicle will feature two interior layouts. One adopts the same instrument cluster and horizontal center console screen as the current Tiggo 8 PLUS, while the other replaces the center screen with a large vertical display and introduces refined details. The new model also debuts a redesigned dual-spoke steering wheel and updated door handle styling, with expected configuration upgrades.

Powertrain options, referencing the current Tiggo 8 PLUS, include 1.6T and 2.0T engines. The 1.6T engine delivers a maximum power of 145kW and is paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The 2.0T engine produces a maximum power of 187kW and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
