What is DIN 17155 15Mo3 Steel?

15Mo3,15Mo3 steel plate,15Mo3 steel sheet are mainly used for building boilers and pressure vessels. When rolling,15Mo3 contains more Mo elements than other steel grades in DIN 17155, but lower than 13CrMo44 and 10CrMo910. For 15Mo3 boiler steel plate thickness belows and equal to 16 millimeters, the minimum yield strength shall be 275 MPa, and tensile strength shall be within 440-590MPa for thickness equal and below 60 millimeters of pressure vessel steel plate 15Mo3.

What is 15Mo3 material equivalent to?

15Mo3 material is used in applications with elevated temperatures like heat exchangers and pressure vessels, and they are equivalent to UNI5869 15Mo3 and EN10028 16Mo3, ASTM A204Gr. B, and 15D3 (NFA 36205). The 1.5415 material comes with excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance.
