In terms of exterior design, the AION i60 features a completely new front fascia. Its deep, upward-sweeping headlights incorporate dual LED light sources, with the upper section housing the daytime running light strip. A central, full-width design element spans the front, while the AION English logo sits prominently above the grille. Vertical air ducts on both sides enhance the front fascia’s visual presence, with discreetly integrated blue auxiliary driving lights within this section. The front bumper retains an air intake design, and the vehicle also incorporates an exterior projector.

The side profile of the AION i60 mirrors that of the AION V, sharing an identical wheelbase. Its dimensions measure 4,685 mm in length, 1,854 mm in width, and 1,660 mm in height, with a 2,775 mm wheelbase. This makes it noticeably larger than the AION V, with an additional 105 mm in length, though it remains a 5-seat SUV. The vehicle features semi-concealed door handles, rearview mirrors with blue auxiliary driving indicator lights, and offers 18-inch or 19-inch wheel options.

At the rear, the AION i60 adopts a full-width taillight design with dual-layer light strips. The center incorporates a self-illuminating logo, while the taillights also conceal blue auxiliary driving indicator lights. The entire rear end exudes a muscular aesthetic. The rear doors open nearly 90 degrees for easier entry and exit, while the power tailgate features a low-threshold design. Exterior paint options include Warm Velvet Gold, Galaxy Blue, Arctic White, Sea Glow Gray, Midnight Shadow Black, and Holographic Silver.

Inside, the AION i60 shares the minimalist design philosophy of the AION V but achieves a stronger sense of cohesion. Its two-tone interior features metallic accents dividing the upper and lower sections, available in Oat Milk White, Warm Velvet Light Brown, and Tahiti Gray. Thirty-two ambient lighting colors create a cozy, home-like ambiance. The interior features a streamlined roller-type steering wheel, a square floating central touchscreen, and a digital instrument cluster. Below the screen are two wireless charging pads. Traditional mechanical door handles remain. For driver assistance, the vehicle is equipped with GAC’s GSD Intelligent Driving Assistance System, supporting highway NDA (No Driver Assistance) and HPA (Highway Parking Assistance) functions, enabling ramp on/off and lane-change capabilities.

Seating

Seating features include front seats with 8-layer comfort upholstery, ergonomically designed for optimal support. The ultra-soft seat surfaces meet baby-grade environmental standards, while 8-point massage functions and V-shaped ergonomic airbags offer five modes, along with ventilation, heating, memory settings, and electric adjustment. The rear seats offer a 137° recline angle with 20° stepless adjustment, complemented by a rear fold-down table and a panoramic sunroof. Powertrain options include pure electric and extended-range variants. The pure electric model utilizes a 75 kWh battery pack delivering a maximum range of 650 kilometers. The extended-range variant features a 1.5L engine producing 74 kW of maximum power, achieving a CLTC pure electric range of 210 km and a combined range of 1,240 km. Fuel consumption under battery depletion is 5.5 L/100 km. The electric motor produces 180 kW of maximum power, with a 30%–80% fast charge achievable in 15 minutes. The vehicle is equipped with MacPherson strut front suspension and a five-link independent rear suspension.
